Marc McGovern Garners Widespread Union Support

My great-grandfather came to this country from Italy, with a 5th grade education and not speaking the language. After years of hard work, he became a union Iron Worker. With those protections and benefits, he was able to purchase a house in Cambridge for his family. I am currently raising my children in that same house, 103 years later. I will forever be grateful for what unions have done for my family. Sadly, unions are under attack across the country, even here in Cambridge. I am proud to be a union supporter and will always stand with them. Thank you to the many unions who have endorsed by re-election for Cambridge City Council.
